Kathleen Robinson MSc. R. Psych

I completed my MSc. in Applied Psychology at the University of Calgary in 2007. Having had prior experience in community psychology practices and the public mental health care setting, I chose to focus on a specialization in School Psychology. While completing my Masters degree, I worked at a community based assessment agency that specialized in Learning Disability and ADHD assessment with children, adolescents, and adults. In 2007, upon completion of my education, I began work in the public education sector where I have practiced as a School Psychologist since that time.

The experience that I have acquired over the years is extensive. I have worked with students from kindergarten through Grade 12, and have provided support to many special education programs within the public education setting. This experience has allowed me to develop a first hand understanding of childhood and adolescnet development, in addition to the types of supports that are often provided to students who have unique learning needs.

Having a child who is struggling to succeed at school is stressful for parents. My goal in working with your family is to reduce that stress and provide you with the information that you need to best advocate for your child. The ultimate goal is to support your family in helping your child reach his/her potential.
